Warranty Policy for GoldXtra Products

We promise that GoldXtra products won’t have any issues with the materials or how they’re made for the times mentioned in section 2.

Here’s how long our warranty lasts:
Our all metal detectors, the electronic system boxes, search coils, shafts, and handles are covered for 3 years from when you bought it.
b. GoldXtra lithium batteries and accessories (except those in section “2a”) are guaranteed for 6 months from your purchase date.

This warranty doesn’t cover third-party accessories and AA/AAA batteries.

Our warranty only deals with problems that come up from using the product normally, following our instructions. It doesn’t cover issues caused by:
a. Accidents, misuse, neglect, or not taking care of it properly,
b. Using software, media, parts, or supplies not from GoldXtra,
c. Using it in a way we didn’t say you should, beyond the instructions and technical manual,
d. Changing or fixing it yourself or by someone not authorized.

If you remove or mess with the serial number, or if the device or its parts and accessories (unless we say it’s waterproof) get really hot, cold, wet, or humid, the warranty is void.

GoldXtra and our suppliers don’t promise anything else, whether said or implied, like it working perfectly or being fit for a specific use.

We won’t be responsible for any kind of damage or loss, like if the equipment we sold, repaired, or serviced doesn’t work right.

If you have a defective part, you need to send it back to GoldXtra or one of our authorized dealers, and you pay for shipping.

If we hear about a defect during the warranty period, we might fix or replace the product, but it’s up to us.

Replacement Policy
PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DEALER OR DISTRIBUTOR FIRST IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

Returning GoldXtra Products
Before you send anything back, you need permission (we call it a return material authorization or RMA). This goes for warranty repairs, non-warranty repairs, and anything else.

Customer Service will give you a form to fill out. After they look at the problem, they’ll give you an RMA number and send the form back.

Once you have the RMA, pack the product right (check the “Packaging your shipment” section). Put the RMA form in the package and write the RMA number outside. Also, include the original Warranty Certificate from the dealer.

We won’t accept returns without permission or ones where we have to pay for shipping.

The repair folks will look at everything and figure out if it’s covered by the warranty.

Packaging Your Shipment
It’s your job to pack things up right so they don’t get damaged. If you don’t, we might not cover it. Here’s what to do:

  • Tape up or put electronic stuff in its original packaging.
  • Pack everything well so it doesn’t get hurt during shipping.
  • Use good packaging to keep things safe.

Warranty Repair/Replacements


If your GoldXtra product doesn’t meet the warranty terms, we’ll fix or replace it during the warranty period, but you pay for shipping. If you bought it from us, the warranty starts when we send it. If you got it from a dealer, the warranty starts when you bought it.
